“You have been wrong about the world because you have misjudged yourself.”   –A Course In Miracles

You who have misjudged even yourself are highly unlikely to be able to see the world in its true light. The world you see is a projection of that which you see within yourself. Therefore, if you have misjudged yourself how could it be any other way than to misjudge the world? And how have you misjudged yourself? This is a very easy question to answer for whenever you  judge anything you always judge wrongly. 

As The Course puts it: Whenever judgement enters, reality has slipped away. When reality has slipped away what could possibly be left other than illusions? Illusions are always an effect of perception wrapped up in judgement. And because you have judged yourself your perception allows you to see only the version of yourself from which reality has slipped away. Again, what’s left after reality has slipped away cannot be anything other than an illusion.

It’s a very difficult thing for humans to understand that the mind is not only the most powerful force in all the universe but it’s the only Source of power in this universe or any other universe. If we’re ever to free ourselves from this world as we see it, there’s a lesson we must learn. We must learn that in all of existence there’s only one Mind and that is the Mind of God, which is the Home of Love and nothing else. And Love, which is the Mind of God created you. As The Course says: “You were created by Love like Itself.”  

“God wills you learn what always has been true—that He created you as part of Him…”    –A Course In Miracles

There’s nothing that God wills that won’t eventually come to pass. It’s an absolute impossibility that what God wills will not happen for it has already happened. God doesn’t will for something to happen in the future for with God there’s only eternity; there is no future. His Will has always been, always is and always will be. 

The above paragraph may contain what seems to be a contradiction. For how can anything eventually come to pass if it has already happened? This is very simple – like everything to do with God is – to explain. God dwells in eternity and there can be no future or past in eternity. You believe you live in time which consists of two non-existent parts; the past and the future. So if you believe you still need to learn something then it can happen only in the illusion you refer to as the future.  

There’s only one lesson that you need to learn from all your experiences in this world. Once this lesson is learned, and accepted, your perception of this world and what’s going on in it takes on a whole different understanding. That one lesson is summed up in the quote above: He created you as part of Him. And what God created as part of Him has always been, is now and will always be part of Him. 

To read these words means nothing, other than to plant a seed in your most holy mind. But to learn their meaning and to fully accept it means everything. For if God created you as part of Him – and He did – then your belief in separation is a fallacy. In order for you to be a separate little physical entity as you believe you are God would have to be broken into separate parts. Can you even comprehend how ludicrous such an idea really is. 

“Yet no one sees himself in conflict and ravaged by a cruel war unless he believes that both opponents in the war are real.”  –A Course In Miracles

When I talk about your most holy mind I’m not referring to that which we refer to as the intellect. For the intellect is that part of your mind that is trapped in a self-made prison of the five senses, which is the home of the ego. I’m referring to your awakened mind, your true mind, which is part of God’s Mind and can be accessed only by joining with the heart, the Home of Love. 

Other than those who have completely and utterly recognized the Spirit, people are beginning to see this world as being embroiled in conflict and ravaged by a cruel war. As the quote above reminds us, in order to see this senseless and cruel war you have to believe that both opponents are real. From A Course In Miracles perspective it’s clear that neither one of the opponents in this dyspotic and cruel conflict is real. 

I realize that the above statement probably won’t win me many popularity points but as The Course proclaims: “Truth cannot have an opposite. This cannot be too often said and thought about.”

“Can fear and sickness enter in a mind where love and perfect holiness abide?”   –A Course In Miracles 

The answer to the question asked above is an emphatic and absolute no. Darkness cannot enter light, cold cannot enter fire and fear or sickness cannot enter where love and perfect holiness abide. Even so, it’s an answer that everyone must find, learn, understand and accept for themselves. 

Those that have initiated this present cruelty on humanity are entities that are completely and entirely disconnected from any form of reality. They’re insane enough to believe that they can turn themselves into gods. They’re utterly disconnected from Love and any of Its attributes, therefore they have not one iota of real power of their own. They know this and that’s what this present cruelty is all about. It’s an attempt to steal the power of humanity using the mass media to instill absolute fear into the ego mind. The ego mind is the split-off speck of mind that’s imprisoned within the five senses and is the only one most of humanity is aware of. 

It’s one bunch of egos attacking another bunch of egos not understanding that they’re attacking themselves. They instill paralyzing fear to the point of hypnosis by playing on the most irrational and senseless fear humans have. As soon as they’re old enough to think, humans are indoctrinated to absolutely fear the illusionary experience referred to as death. 

“The world is not left by death but by truth.”    –A Course In Miracles

Every living thing on this planet knows that its experience here is temporary. Each and every one of us knows that the experience we erroneously refer to as death is inevitable. It’s inevitable for the simple reason that the physical body, like everything physical, is temporary. It’s a learning device and when we have learned what we’re meant to learn during this experience we lay it aside and move on to another learning experience. As the above Course quote reminds us, until we have learned the truth, we won’t leave this insane world. 

In The Course Jesus tells us that this is an insane world, and he also tells us not to underestimate the actual extent of its insanity.  What is the truth that we must learn in order to leave this insanity we call the world?  In all its simplicity it is simply this: When God created you, He made you part of Him.

Anyone who learns this and completely accepts it into the depths of their being understands there’s nothing else to learn. They have recognized the truth, they have recognized that which they already know, they have recognized their Self as Spirit. 

I’m going to close this post with a quote from A Course In Miracles: “With your perfection ever in His sight, He gives the gift of peace to everyone who perceives the need for peace and who would have it. Make way for peace, and it will come. For understanding is in you, and from it peace must come.”
