There’s a law in the universe that’s older than the universe itself. It was through this law that everything was created and it’s by the power of this law that everything created is kept in its proper place. This law is based on energy, vibrations and frequencies. Abraham-Hicks was the first to explain this law in simple terms and also give it a name. In simple layman’s terms this law is this: That which is like unto itself is drawn. They named this phenomenon, “The Law of Attraction.” 

Even though this phenomenon is called a law, it’s not a law that can ever be broken. It’s an eternal truth and it will never deviate from its function, which is to carry out the Will of God to create and then to preserve that which is created. There’s not one real thing in all of existence that was not brought to its being by this law carrying out God’s Will. 

Everything in this universe and all other universes is energy and energy is never static. It’s always moving in movements which we call vibrations and vibrations are always moving at a specific rate of speed which we call frequencies. All energy that vibrates at the same frequency is attracted to itself, which is the force that holds everything together. 

“There is no matter as such! All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. . . .”    …Max Planck

According to Wikipedia, Max Planck was a German theoretical physicist whose discovery of energy quanta won him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918. In the same speech from which the above quote is taken, he went on to say: “We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.”

There is no matter as such for the simple reason that everything is energy. And until particles of energy are vibrating at the required frequency, or as Planck said, to vibration, matter doesn’t exist. The force, as Planck called it, that brings the particles of an atom to vibration is none other than thought. For as he said, we must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind, and what else could come from a Mind but thought?

“The arrest of the mind’s extension is the cause of all illness, because only extension is the mind’s function.”    …A Course In Miracles

God is Love and Love created you by extending Itself as a unique Thought. Thoughts never leave the thinker’s mind they extend from it but are always part of it. Therefore you are a unique Thought extended from God’s mind but always and forever held within It. 

You are a unique and extended Thought of God but that doesn’t mean you’re special or anything like that. It simply means that there’s only one of you even though you are part of God and therefore, connected to everyone and everything else.  

In The Course Jesus tells you what your function is. In other words, he reminds you of God’s Purpose in creating you: “Child of God, you were created to create the good, the beautiful, and the holy.” You, as part of God, are a Creator and your function and purpose is to create by extending your Self in good, beautiful and holy Thoughts the same as your Creator. 

“It is your thoughts alone that cause you pain. Nothing external to your mind can hurt or injure you in any way.”   …A Course In Miracles  

 You don’t believe the above statement to be true because you can’t let go of the idea that you’re a physical being. Because you believe you’re a body, common sense tells you that there are many, many things which are external to your mind that can hurt or injure you in many ways.

And so you go on living your life from birth to death unwittingly using the most powerful force in all of creation in a mostly negative manner. You use the Power of creation, which was given you when you were created to create the good, the beautiful, and the holy, against yourself. 

In The Course Jesus tells us that thoughts can represent lower-order or higher-order reality. He goes on to say, one makes the physical and the other creates the spiritual. Either he’s right or he’s wrong, there can be no in between in this. 

“This course will be believed entirely or not at all. For it is wholly true or wholly false and cannot be but partially believed.”   …A Course In Miracles 

It’s time that we humans began to understand the immense power we’re endowed with and cease from using it against ourselves. For every time you allow your mind to dwell on negativity that’s what you’re doing; you’re using the Power of God against yourself. You’re using it to arrest the mind’s extension for your most holy mind cannot extend itself through negativity. And as Jesus tells us in the second quote above, the arrest of the mind’s extension is the cause of all illness. 

When Max Planck made the discovery that there is no matter as such he had discovered the truth that he was not a physical body. For how could he be a body if there is no matter as such? If there is no matter until, as he discovered, the particles of an atom are brought to vibration, then the very body he probably believed himself to be, existed only as a temporary illusion. It was brought into existence only by virtue of a force which not only brought the particles of an atom to vibration, but also held the solar system of the atom together.

And what is the force he discovered that has the power and intelligence to do all this? It’s none other than the thoughts that represent lower-order reality, for, as the above quote points out, lower-order thoughts make the physical. Your body was made by your Self once It accepted the idea that It is separate from God. It’s belief in separation caused It to make an ego which needed a home and so the body fulfills that purpose. Like the ego, the body is a temporary illusion which houses the ego and hides the truth of what you really are.   

It takes an immense amount of learning before humans can accept the idea that they have under their direction the most powerful force in all of existence. They are endowed with the Power of God and realize it not. The Power of God combined with the awesome ability of decision forms the Power to create or miscreate. Your thoughts either create Heaven on earth or they make hell on earth. The decision is yours to decide which one it will be. You are endowed with the Power to create or the power to miscreate. It’s the same Power but whether it creates Heaven or makes a hell is within your ability to decide. For you have the power to change your mind at any time you choose to do so.  

I’m going to close this post with a quote from A Course In Miracles: “You will never rest until you know your function and fulfill it, for only in this can your will and your Father’s be wholly joined. To have Him is to be like Him, and He has given Himself to you. You who have God must be as God, for His function became yours with His gift. Invite this knowledge back into your minds, and let nothing that will obscure it enter.”
