First of all I must apologize for the interruption in my last post. As I mentioned, while I was in the process of writing  a really horrific event took place here in this beautiful Province of Nova Scotia, which  caused me to change directions in the middle of the post. 

But it doesn’t matter all that much really, because all of my posts are meant to promote the same message regardless of the words used or what order they’re used in. which is: LOVE is All – All is LOVE – there is nothing else… A return to LOVE (to our original state) is not only necessary but is the one and only answer to all of the problems facing mankind. And all sentient beings must be included in that LOVE, or it’s not LOVE. For LOVE doesn’t exclude any life regardless of the form expressed.

  “I seek my own Identity and find it in these words: ‘Love, Which created me, is what I am.’ Now need I seek no more. Love has prevailed…”   …ACIM

With the exception of those who have already remembered what they are, every  being on this planet is searching for something even though they know not what that “something” is. How many realize that what they’re searching for is their own Identity? 

And that search will continue until the truth of their identity springs forth from the memories contained within the state of Unity. The state of Unity being the state experienced after joining the mind with the heart. Simply because people are continuously searching for their own Identity doesn’t mean that they don’t already know the answer. All it means is, they have forgotten it.

Does it not stand to reason that if people are continuously searching for the answers to the question, Who am I or What Am I – and they are – then they must, whether they realize it or not, believe there’s something beyond the body? The truth is, down in the deep recesses of their minds people have a feeling they can’t explain. They have that longing that keeps beckoning for them to search. That longing that says, I know that I am more, much more, than this so-called “life” I’m experiencing here in this physical world. 

And they’re right, for the truth is, we are powerful Creators, and as such, we are the creators of our own experiences while we’re here in this physical dimension. We are also the creators of the bodies that allow us to experience those experiences. 

Eventually we’ll all come to the understanding that all of our problems in this physical world are caused by the erroneous belief that a god that exists outside of ourselves created us. This belief is the cause of our perception that we’re alone and separate from everything in the universe, including God. And it’s this belief that causes us to continuously search for our own Identity where It doesn’t exist, which is outside of ourselves. 

You did not create your Self, nor were you created by a god that exists separate from and outside of you. You are a unique Thought of LOVE, an Idea held always and forever in the Mind of God. God is not outside of you and you are not outside of God. You never were, you are not now, nor will you ever be, imprisoned in a physical body. You are an expression of God’s LOVE, forever and eternally limitless and free as God is. Your original intent, mission and purpose was to express that same LOVE and create a world of LOVE, Joy & Happiness. And you can decide to return to that original state at any time you choose.  

“The body is outside you, and but seems to surround you, shutting you off from others and keeping you apart from them and them from you.”   …ACIM

Anything that’s outside of you is an illusion, and therefore, it’s not real. Even though it’s nearly impossible to deny the body’s existence in this world, that still doesn’t make it real. It’s difficult to accept but the whole world as you perceive it is outside of you and therefore, none of it is real. 

The physical world as we perceive it is not the world God created. This world is temporary, every bit of it is temporary, and God did not create anything that’s not eternal. And God sure didn’t create a world of suffering, sickness and death. To believe that a Loving God would create such a world is to believe that God is insane. For only an insane god would create such a world as this. This world, as most humans perceive it, is a product of the ego which is insane. 

“You created your life here in union with the one mind and one heart, in union, in other words, with God.”   …ACOL

How can it be that we have created our lives here in union with God, and yet experience those  lives as being subject to loneliness, depression, old age, sickness and death? A life created in union with God is a life created from LOVE. It’s a life created knowing that we are not now, never were, nor ever will be separated from God. 

It could never be anything other than a life of happiness and joy for that is God’s will for us. Expressing who we are, expressing LOVE, in observable form and by doing so creating a world based in LOVE was our original intent. But as I wrote in this post, something has gone terribly wrong. 

Instead of creating our lives and our world from LOVE we have done just the opposite. We have convinced ourselves to believe in an illusion. The illusion being we have separated ourselves from our Source. We have allowed our egos to convince us that God exists way off in the heavens somewhere and therefore, we are separate from God and everything and everyone else in the universe. What else could such a condition provide for us other than fear? We are all living in a world made with the vibrations of fear – the absolute lowest vibrations in the universe.

“If you knew Who walks beside you on this way which you have chosen, fear would be impossible. You do not know because the journey into darkness has been long and cruel, and you have gone deep into it.”   …ACIM

Who is it that walks beside you? As the header quote prior to this one tells us: You created your life here in union with the one mind and one heart, in union, in other words, with God. 

Who could be in fear and make a life based in fear if they knew that God walked beside them? As the above quote says, fear would be impossible.

I’m going to close this post with a couple quotes. The first is by the late British writer and speaker, Alan Watts:

“If you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomena of nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that.” 

The second one is by that great  Persian poet, Rumi: 

“Stop acting so small. You are the Universe in ecstatic motion.”
